Welcome to the Summer issue of Heritage NSW. We begin the year 2000 with a
look at some of the good work being done by government agencies in
conserving our important heritage places. On page four we discover how the
University of Sydney is approaching the maintenance of the University's
distinctive Gothic Revival buildings.
This year teachers begin the enjoyable task of educating our school
students in the delights and discoveries of our community heritage.
Heritage Office Education Consultant, Mary Parry, describes the new
heritage education materials that will be used in our schools for the first
time this year.
