Picture Sydney: Landmarks of a New Generation
The latest in a series of international photographic projects initiated by the Getty Conservation Institute, Picture Sydney features photographs by 18 young Sydney people. Their brief was to capture on black and white film a Sydney landmark which for them conveys a sense of place. The workshops leading into the exhibition challenged young people to value their built environment and think about what places are important to them. The exhibition was funded by the NSW Heritage Office with the Department of Education and Training.
