Welcome to the final Heritage NSW for 1998. The theme for this issue is our
culturally diverse heritage. We take a look at how different communities
are working with the Heritage Office to build a more representative picture
of the State's heritage.
This issue marks a successful year of working with ethnic communities to
raise awareness of heritage conservation. The Heritage Office has been
working with a variety of national groups to ensure that significant
material evidence of these communities is conserved for future generations.
Heritage NSW brings you an update on progress within the Chinese community
and the Italian community, just two of our five pilot groups.
We are pleased to announce that Heritage NSW is now available on the
internet. You can access the current newsletter, as well as all past
issues, on the Heritage Office home page at www.heritage.nsw.gov.au.
