Thanks to everyone who took the time to complete the survey circulated in the last issue of Heritage NSW. We received a terrific response with some excellent feedback on how we can continue to keep you informed about heritage in NSW.

One of the interesting results of the survey was the wide variety of interests and backgrounds of our readers. Those interested in heritage include teachers and students, business people, local council staff and councillors, heritage professionals, history buffs and community representatives. It was gratifying to hear how many of you enjoy the newsletter and find it relevant to your interests.

In response to the many suggestions, we will be making some changes to Heritage NSW. We will endeavour to bring you more articles with commonsense explanations of heritage processes, a greater emphasis on local government initiatives in heritage, and more reports on projects funded through the Heritage Incentives Program and additions to the State Heritage Register. We will continue to maintain the current variety of topics, ensuring that all aspects of heritage are explored.
