AUGUST 1998
Welcome to the second edition of Heritage NSW. We are pleased with the positive response to our new-look newsletter and will continue to keep it informative and interesting.

In this issue we focus on religious heritage and the places of worship that have special meaning for their communities. These and other important issues will be discussed at Tradition & Change, a major conference on the conservation of religious property to be held in Manly in September.
One sharp-eyed reader noted a misprint in the article in our April issue on Lake Innes House near Port Macquarie. The estate was constructed by Major Archibald Clunes Innes, not Major Clunes as stated in the story.

Heritage NSW will continue to bring you the latest developments in heritage issues, local heritage news and simple explanations of technical and legal matters affecting heritage. We are also keen to hear what topics you'd like to see explored by Heritage NSW in the future.
