Utzon in China
As part of the exhibition at the State Library of NSW, The Architect's Sketchbook, Peter Myers will present a lecture concerning the influence of Chinese architectural practice on Jørn Utzon and his masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House. Peter Myers is a Sydney architect and lecturer who has worked with Jørn Utzon.

1998 Local History Conference
Our knowledge of heritage is changing as the community's knowledge of its past increases. Changes in values, attitudes and procedures mean local historians need to upgrade their skills. Conference topics will include convict heritage, maritime archaeology, movable heritage and community involvement, with particular emphasis on the ways historians can contribute to the new State Heritage Inventory.
