Comment on Development Applications

You can comment on applications submitted under section 60 (S60) of the NSW Heritage Act. When an item of state significance is proposed for development, the Heritage Council publishes notices in State-wide and local media and invites the owners, occupiers, local council and any interested members of the public to make a submission.

Upper Canal System (Prospect Reservoir)   Prospect  Blacktown  26 Aug 08   17 Sep 08   Mining, mining –related subsidence and mitigation measures to address subsidence impacts of longwall coal mining occurring beneath a section of the Upper Canal and Simpsons Creek aqueduct. Includes modifications to the Aqueduct and its headwall, temporary measures to raise the Canal freeboard and a range of contingency measures to deal with localised collapse.
