Ready to paint
All traces of the casting process have now been removed from the casting itself, and the surface has been polished and buffed in preparation for painting.
The greenish-tinge to some parts of the surface are reflections of other elements in the room, and give some sense of how bronze can be highly polished to produce the lustrous finishes befitting such a work of art. It took some many hours to transform the surface texture as shown here from the initial rough casting surface.
