| Physical Description: |
Small park, a little less than 1 hectare in area. Elevated plateau with magnificent expansive view down Sydney Harbour, to city and Harbour Bridge. Semi-circular layout of Canary Island palms, possibly from c. 1930's or 40's, up to 8m high. Groups of same palms in street reserve just below park. Recently planted native species sympathetically sited near boundaries, away from palms. Natural sandstone ledges and rock faces present. |
