Statement of Significance

Good, 1930's style, brick chapel. Well maintained and essentially unaltered. Special community interest. Major streetscape contribution on prominent corner site. Local significance.

Description
Construction Years: 1915 - 1945
Physical Description: Good, 1930's style, brick church. Liver brick façade with lighter brick on side elevations. Ecclesiastical Gothic style. Large rectangular entry feature. Castellated parapet with smooth and moulded render for decoration. Good use of decorative brickwork generally, including dichromatic brickwork at sides. Now has side addition to entry. Unsympathetic but reasonably unobtrusive. Otherwise unaltered and in very good condition.
