History
Historical Notes: First post office for this area was an unofficial office in Ocean Street, opened in 1883. A new building was erected in 1898 but was not really adequate. This site was acquired c. 1907 and a new residential post office erected. Appears little altered since (see 1946 photo in Waverley Local History Collection, 4553).
