Unusual brick chapel with considerable charm. Part of hospital group and complementing twentieth century and earlier buildings nearby. Local significance.

Description
Construction Years: 1915 - 1945
Physical Description: Good brick chapel with most unusual roof. Octagonal in plan with gabled projection. Projection is in stone and features a round arched, stained glass window. Leadlight windows on most faces to main building. Main roof takes the form of a truncated octagonal cone or pyramid. Overall form reminiscent of a beehive. Excellent brick and stonework. Special terra cotta roof tiles, similar to shingles. Age difficult to tell. Could have been built in stages. Brickwork appears to be c. 1940.
