The Heritage Branch, NSW Department of Planning runs a diverse and targeted funding program to assist owners and managers of state significant heritage items, Aboriginal heritage and local government heritage management in New South Wales

In this section, you can find out about the NSW Heritage Grants, a funding program for heritage projects

The NSW Government has committed $5.324 million funding for NSW Heritage Grants for the 2 year funding program for 2009-2011

Take a look at the eight diverse and targeted NSW Heritage Grants funding programs. Applications are open all year for the Aboriginal heritage projects, Conservation documents and management reports and local government heritage management program.

Applications are now closed for the Works, Interpretation, Community strategic products and services and the Special program for major cultural and community heritage buildings programs. Applications for these programs will open for the 2011-2013 NSW Heritage Grants program in late 2010.
